why do people have a fixed ladder?
if you have a roof box I can see a reason, but what else would justify one?

One of these.... cheaper and comes in handy at home..
I bought one at the Malvern show....£50... extends to 3 mtrs... :thumb:

That's what I use, as there is no fixed ladder I think it is more secure, keep the scallywags off!
And easier to clean and polish the back...
I always think a M.H. looks tidier without them cluttering the back up.. :thumb:

I seem to remember, that you had to buy that extending ladder gadget, thingy, VeryOldMoIceCreamNoInternetMan, when you bought your Damon and it, unusually for an RV, did not have a rear ladder.
mount sat dish on, dry washing, put flag pole on, looks cool, ..makes it easier to get into the van through the roof light .. oh:
small boy.. up on de roof..in you pop.
to stop that happening you buy a ladder guard.. more dosh..
but it keeps Peter in business.
