Help! please I'm looking for a rear ladder for my Autotrail Cheyenne, Autotrail way too expensive, any cheaper alternatives?

why do people have a fixed ladder?

if you have a roof box I can see a reason, but what else would justify one?

mount sat dish on, dry washing, put flag pole on, looks cool, ..makes it easier to get into the van through the roof light .. :Doh:

small boy.. up on de roof..in you pop.

to stop that happening you buy a ladder guard.. more dosh..

but it keeps Peter in business.

One of these.... cheaper and comes in handy at home..

I bought one at the Malvern show....£50... extends to 3 mtrs... :thumb:

I have a ladder it's been on my garage roof for the last 20 years a project, it has 7 runs.

That's what I use, as there is no fixed ladder I think it is more secure, keep the scallywags off!

i use part of an ally ladder a mate had bent and was chucking out . four bits of ally angle and its mounted . few rivets . dont get much cheaper .
mind i dont have any roof vents .

I seem to remember, that you had to buy that extending ladder gadget, thingy, VeryOldMoIceCreamNoInternetMan, when you bought your Damon and it, unusually for an RV, did not have a rear ladder. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Neither has my "Rapido" got a ladder..

many many years! since I was a kid
