Just a quick query to readers.

I note there are about 35 viewers of the thread whilst it is at the top of what's new.
When it gets to the bottom there are 10 or so.
I can't believe that it's possible to read this thread for more than 20 seconds unless completely new to the thread as you just click the link to read the journal

However, after a day of various numbers reading the thread at different times there are only 30 views of the newest journal entry which doesn't quite make sense to me. The older journals within this journal are about 100 and my previous journals which have been there a year are into high hundreds last time I checked.

Is anyone doing anything different to clicking on the link ? Just interested

Have to say, due to really bad receptions where we have been i have only opened a few of your posts. I will be doing when i get decent reception.

Stunning via verde.

Quick walk round the picturesque village and getting bread from the shop revealed a lovely little village.

We finished at xarta but started at the station of prat de comte. That's 18 km. We will be overnighting at prats and going the other way tomorrow which starts with an 800 m dark tunnel.

A via verde, lovely hilltop town and superb looking hidden rock pools to swim in.
(Temperature permitting)

We stayed overnight at the train station at Prat de Comte which is 8 km and 15 minute drive or hours cycle back to the town. Hilly and winding.

There's only about 5 days of warmish weather left. Next Wednesday its back to UK weather standards.

We shot up and 9 KMs from Otol so near Girona.
Bike ride this morning then 3 hours to here.
Next couple of days are via verde from Esteve then 7 days to get home, probably going up the Clermont road from here.

We came to Esteve last night for another free Aire with 6 places, free dump, 50 cents for a cassette clean and electricity at 5 euros for 24 hours.
Very quiet night with 5 of us here.

We have decided we will keep Billy until after Goodwood Revival.
So we have also decided to use Billy to go to Bulgaria to meet up with Son and family whilst they are visisting DiLs parents.
Will do Bansko, Plodiv and others whilst there in July August ish..................we think.

Been to Bulgaria a couple of times but never got to Plod yet. DiL father was born and raised there, he will take us around.
Bansko is our favourite at the mo.

Just an update of no journal entry today, we shot off early from Esteve, did some shopping at LaJonquera which we thought was expensive, took the slow road past Perpignan and Narbonne before landing at marseillan plage for 5 euros a night spending afternoon at beach and downloading Teams for my interview in the morning where I try and get back to work.
I LL be pushing for return to full duties (12 hours days and nights)just no body armour. I suspect they will agree to that apart from 12 hours.

Looking after students at Uni, but it's Easter so only 2,000 or so rather than 20,000.
I have a retired major, rsm, lieutenant and a sniper (who has joined my team since illness). I don't quite know how to utilise him best yet.

Well, I know that I want to read the journal when I have a nice quiet time to myself so I click on the thread just to see if any news headlines and then save the journal for later.

Bourges town and cycle on canal due berry
