Thanks for reading and hope you have enjoyed joining us on this trip.
You must admit it would be funny if the washing machine was faulty from new 😮

Correct but I had not noticed before you mentioned it, I was not convinced that the panels were stuck down though as the cables were not routed under the panels, on a MORELO solar fit they have an entry point underneath the panel for the cables so nothing actually run on the roof, I don't know how many regulators they were fitting either.

That seems a much neater way of doing it, you see some very messy installations with wires and cable entry boxes stuck down.

Strange theyre not going for bigger panels or dven a selection including bigger ones.

Yes but with all those panels what a mess it would look on the roof otherwise. Done properly with correct entry boxes shouldn’t be a problem.
All clean and tidy Paul.

Not quite as neat as morelo but it is oldView attachment 756388 View attachment 756389
Nice and clean 👍
It does sometimes make me wonder about "bespoke" builds. Personally I care much more about my power requirements than whether my draw fronts are flat or scalloped.

But Morelo aren’t bespoke Jon, yes you can select different options and equipment but from a standard list, you might be lucky and go a little bit “off piste” but not far.

Do I read that correct?
There’s a separate hole through roof for each solar panel ?

Somebody wanted more of the journey so here goes,

IMG_1721 (1).jpeg

After the factory visit we came back to Dettelbach, it's easier servicing here rather than fighting for a spot in the queue at the factory, we put water on when we arrived and did the other tanks this morning as it had been close to 10 days.

IMG_1723.jpeg

A nice spot to watch the world go bye but the river is not very busy.

IMG_1736.jpeg

IMG_1735.jpeg

Nice town for a wander and a few eating establishments, Edeka supermarket just over the road from the stellplatz and Lidl about 1/2 a mile away as we drove out this morning.

Moved this morning and now at Iphofen (free Stellplatz for 3 days max) about 15 miles from Dettelbach which was €7 per night, had a quick look in town but back athe van for lunch and somebody has her eyes shut, need to put more clothes on for another wander as it is not warm.

Not much solar today:unsure:

Don't mention shops ;) I know for a fact that there is a nice wool/knitting shop as we had to go in last year (most likely spent money), we cycled that way from Dettelbach this trip but the rain followed us all the way so we didn't hang around, not stopped there this time though, yet

A bit more of Iphofen then,

IMG_1763.jpeg

This fella on the bike seemed to be suggesting we should have a drink so  well we did and as the lady didn't ask what size it came large:giggle: so not much sense out of me tonight.

IMG_1752.jpeg

IMG_1765.jpeg

It's the camera, not the building or me  It is the hotel where we had the glass of wine though.

IMG_1754.jpeg

I am not particularly religious (or at all) but I do like churches for the craftsmanship within,

IMG_1759.jpeg

This was quite interesting in that it is evangelical church on the right and hospital one the left,

IMG_1757.jpeg

Rather than me try to explain it this might help.

A bike ride today, nearly all on cycle track’s between villages and through vines,

IMG_1769.jpeg

You might be starting to think I have an obsession with churches and cemeteries but it’s not true, we stopped outside this one and within a couple of minutes a car pulled up and the guy spoke to us in English (the coronation bunting on the back was the clue) he asked “was all OK or did we need some help?” we said we were fine thanks but thank you anyway, no problem have a nice visit came the reply, how nice was that?

IMG_1770.jpeg

And the cemetery was really well kept.

IMG_1773.jpeg

Returning to Iphofen just in time as we had less than 1 mile left in the battery 😄

Another walk around Iphofen last night,

IMG_1776.jpeg

You can easily walk around the walls of the town, I read that Iphofen is the only town in Germany with complete walls and gates.

As you walk around there are lots of nesting boxes that all seem to be sponsored by families or businesses.

IMG_1774.jpeg

IMG_1777.jpeg

And then we moved.

Not far though so now at Ochsenfurt about 20 miles from last night’s stop, thought we better get a spot for the weekend so we were here by about 11, it wasn’t too busy then but has filled up since,

IMG_1780.jpeg

IMG_1801.jpeg

A decent view of the river for these 4 while we go out,

IMG_1793.jpeg

The fair is in town and various things happening for the weekend so it could get busy,

IMG_1799.jpeg

Another walled town, not as complete, but very lovely all the same, we are being spoilt this trip,

IMG_1792.jpeg

IMG_1797.jpeg

They call this the “new” town hall but it was built about 1500.

Wow, this thread is really interesting thanks. I actually realise I met you in an aire in Belgium in May 2018! (near Grottes de Han).
I'm totally intrigued how you get on with such large vans, I was actually considering downsizing when our son no longer comes with us. Isn't it stressful finding places to stop?
