Just to update you on a possible SCAM

Hi,
The motorhome is already at the shipping company in Inverness. The shipping is free. Another buyer paid for the transport, after he did it, he told me he does not have the money to buy the motorhome, that is why is free of charge.
Let me explain you how this should work. Once you send me the info requested, eBay will send you an invoice with the payment details and all the terms of the deal. At that moment, the motorhome is reserved for you and no one else can buy it. Follow the steps from the invoice in order to complete the payment, you should make the payment using the details from the invoice. Once you deposit the money to eBay, they will notify me to initiate the shipping. It will take 2 days until the motorhome arrives to your home address and from that moment you will have 3 days to inspect the motorhome. Once you have the motorhome inspected and give to eBay the OK that you want to keep it, I will receive the money. I will not receive any money until then. If you decide that you don't want the motorhome, but I'm sure that will not be the case, you will receive the money back and I will get the motorhome back (and you won't be charged for this). Remember that you will not pay any extra pounds, all you pay is the price of the motorhome. You'll receive the log book sign by me all you need to do is to put your signature on it.
If you are interested in buying it please provide me your full name, address and phone no for shipping so I can initiate the deal through eBay.

Kind regards,
Jenny Elliot

As you've already been told on the original thread it's a scam. Best to just forget about it and move on.

Unfortunately e-bay are not interested , their auction site is a mine-field of scammers and chancers, both buyers and sellers
I would stop short of saying they are aiding and abetting criminals by allowing it to be so widespread

At £11000 for a motor-home that is £25000 everywhere else........

Subscribers  do not see these advertisements

Its always useful to share scamming tales as new ones appear all the time (y)

But anything that requires you to settle an invoice, and only then will they "initiate" shipping a couple of days later, is very very obviously not genuine

Use "Report This Item" link at the bottom of the listing to report it to eBay.

:mad:Difficult to believe that despite endless warnings on every media outlet possible and advice given by many that there are people who still believe these ridiculous see through SCAMS could be the bargain of the year...People don't ever send funds to anyone you do not know despite whatever hard luck story they spin..The wonder of copy and paste seems to still fool so many..:ROFLMAO::mad:

The Motorhome was not listed on e-bay just the fact that the seller indicated payment system through them. thought they may want to investigate and possible intervention.
