X244 ducato wiring plug

Hi does anybody know a part number or source of a plug to connect to the wiring under the drivers seat on my 2003 ducato, would like to use a feed from there

if the plug isnt being used and is likely never to be used, wouldnt it be just as easy to cut it off and identify the wire you need, or even test the connections first and make a soldered connection into the wire itself, before the connecting plug, leaving the plug in situ?
