Hi there everybody. Just had a 2020 Elddis motorhome on Peugeot Boxer chassis serviced. They found a cable hanging down from rear drivers side wheel. The plug on the end has ripped off. No lights showing on dashboard. I know it is a worn brake pad sensor cable. As it is only fitted to one side (according to Peugeot) I cannot check the other side to see what the plug type is and get one off Ebay. Anybody know the plug type?

Thanks

It could take 100k miles to wear out rear brake pads. MOT should spot them ---- eventually!

Would it not be a warranty issue, not even two years old and failed / fallen off 🤔

Also seems odd that it hasn’t put the warning light on by default

if its cut clean it will not put a light on.

the two wires short to the disc when worn that completes the circuit and the light comes on..

Surely it's fail-safe, i.e. no current path, light shows.

all the ones I have come across put the light on when the circuit is completed by the moulded end of the wires that clip into the pad wearing with the brake pad and exposing the wires to the disc at a given depth to complete the circuit.
