Hi we have just changed our motorhome from single beds to island bed so we have two Fogarty all season wool quilts, they are in perfect condition, if anyone would like them just let me know, we don’t want anything for them just wanted them to be of use,
cheers Andy.

You are very kind. Hopefully someone close by to you will see your post.

We converted from feather to wool last year for the house and use one of them in the MH all the time now. They’re wonderful and take up little space. Hope you find a good home for them. Lovely gesture.

A lovely offer I hope they find a good home.

I’ve just purchased a wool quilt and pillows from Baavet on the recommendation of my sister in law.

Be interested to hear what you think of the Baavet products. We’ve been looking into getting wool duvet/pillows for a while. Hadn’t found them in my previous online search’s. Which weight duvet did you go for? and we like the fact that it’s a 100% British product.

Do wool duvets keep you a little cooler, or at least regulate your body temperature better than synthetic ones? We only have 4.5 tog synthetic duvets and a find them too warm one minute and too cold the next.

I’ve used Baavets for years now. I have their winter weight quilt and have used their pillows, but being a lazy girl I find having to regularly pull the beads of wool apart, to be a bit of a clat! I now use a ‘sleep easy ‘ pillow which is great for my neck. we have single summer weight duvets from South Africa that are still in use. Bought them in 2001.

Hope you don't mind me butting in here. I have a Baavet duvet in my van.
I bought a 'winter weight' double duvet to supplement my spring/autumn single one from Devon Duvets. I also have a wool pillow. My Baavet double was from their 'Baargain Box' and is slightly overweight against their standard winter weight duvets. It's lovely! Warm, cosy, light, and eliminates the gaps which I sometimes get with my single wool duvet which is fine in summer but not so great in winter. It packs up nice and compactly too. The Baavet one came packed up with a lavender sachet and a sample piece showing how the duvet is made. It had a slight lanolin smell when first unpacked but this wore off very quickly. I don't have any hesitation in recommending buying from Baavet. I'll probably add another pillow soon.

I’ve gone for 2 900g pillows with the thought I can take wool out if needed.

I’ve bought a 310g quilt from the baagain box.

200-300 g is very light summer or “women of a certain age” weight!
2-4 tog.

300-400g is light summer or warm house 4-8 tog equivalent.

400-500+g is winter weight.

My sister in law stayed with a friend who had baavet on her spare bed and was converted. She’s got a winter weight and is thrilled.

I’m always hot at night so really hoping this helps regulate my temperature. Of course Martin is cold!

Hope this helps. I’ll let you know how we get on x

We've got 2 wool duvets. A Bavaat one on the bed at home and a cheaper one from Dunelm which is New Zealand wool in the Motorhome. Both are very good.

I switched to baavets years ago. I have a mid weight ones for all the beds and the van. No more switching from summer to winter etc. love them 🥰 I got all mine from the bargain box 😊

I find the pillows constantly knot and you have to beat them then put them out on the line when it’s sunny
