Any one please ... a slatted duckboard for rear washroom shower floor, circular with an edge cut straight.
To fit Swift Kontiki and Bessacarr with rear washroom.

As an interim measure we have cut a shower mat to size for our swift so we can walk on it without damaging our tray . We roll it up when we have a shower and then put it back straight after so wet room always dry to walk on.It looks nice as there are lots of designs to chose from and works well as padded protection. Our shower also has our toilet in. Hope that helps till you find a wooden one.

there are so many possible shapes for a duckboard. much better to make one yourself.
cut out a cardboard template to fit and mark which side is the top

turn it over and lay battens of 2x1 softwood on top leaving 3/4 of an inch between them. then lay another 4 battens at 90 degrees to the first battens. start these 2 inches from the ends of the first battens and equal space the 2 middle ones. using 35mm zinc plated screws put 2 in every overlapping joint. turn the whole project over so the cardboard is on top. then draw round the template onto the ends of the battens. using a jigsaw with a sharp fine blade cut the duckboard to shape.
sand thoroughly all the battens and wipe clean. apply 2 or more coats of exterior grade or yacht varnish, sanding lightly between coats

It should take no more than 2 hours to complete this job and will give job satisfaction and a product that will last for years

Thank you for your DIY Guide ... darned good idea, Yup I'll give it a go.
