All,
Moho going into storage over the winter, I have done the following - Have I missed anything:

Gas off, disconnected from bottles and tap under sink (Frost one) opened
Water tank drained and tap left open
Hot Water Drained and tap left open
All Taps left open
Shower hose laid down in tray and tap open
Fridge Open
Grey Waste Drained and left open
Toilet emptied
Habitation power isolated

Anything else?

Also going to put on my solar battery conditioner for the Engine Battery to just keep the level up

Don't just empty the cassette.
Put a strong amount of your preferred liquid in there, (Elsan Blue, Bio Washing liquid etc)

give it a good shake and swirl and empty.

Then do it again but leave it in the cassette. It won't freeze and, even if it did,
providing there's only a, say 1Lt. of liquid it wont crack the plastic cos it has room to expand.

Depending on whether you follow the advice regarding leaving something in the cassett, I usually just empty, flush clean and rinse etc and then silicone grease the seal again and leave the flap slightly open.

You may well consider placing tumble drier smelly sheets around, as that’s meant to help discourage rodents and also males the place smell lovely.

Leave the blade part open on the toilet as they can sometimes stick.

Put something like a clothes peg as a spacer between the windscreen & wiper blades to protect them over winter storage as I have just found they are £24 to replace at my dealers.
If possible take van for a short trip until engine is warmed up, to keep all the mechanicals, brakes & disks moving.
If necessary chock wheels or leave in gear and release hand brake so the brake shoes dont seize against the drums at rear.
Pull up window blinds, and shut roof vent screens to protect upholstery against being bleached in the sun (If we have any) maybe leave WC roof vent slightly open to provide some ventilation, as I am told this helps alleviate condensation.
Open all top cupboard doors, place cushions & matrasses away from the outer walls, again to help with air flow and condensation issues.

May seem like a PIA, but use the van as often as you can, especially in the cold dark months, its good for the van and good for us to get away somewhere regardless of the weather, its just a nice change for a couple of days, think Britstops(y) :drinks:

I also use one of these.

Never done it myself......,

but I have heard of people blowing up a balloon, nip the neck, put balloon opening over tap spout and let the released air clear any water out of the pipes.

On ours there is also a lever operated shut-off valve which I open adjacent to the water pump which is located under one of the beds. Close the blinds also although some prefer to leave them open to avoid "stretching" them.

I always set a couple of mouse traps
I used to do this and always caught mice. Then decided that it was the smell of the bait ( chocolate ) that actually brought them indoors. We now take absolutely everything out and wipe down all smooth surfaces with diluted Dettol. Touch wood its worked so far,

Ventilation is your friend.
Leave vents open a crack and let the air flow freely.
Lift any cushions if you cannot take them in.
Chock the wheels if on a slope, and leave in gear with the handbrake off.
When you drain down, also remove the filter bowl.

Best tactic is to try and use it once every month.

put it in gear and leave the hand brake off (assuming flat parking).
by hot water drained I assume you mean you have drained the boiler?
never leave any paper products - toilet rolls, kitchen towels as the mice like them for making their nests.
don't leave the solar tyre-pal in the sun as not recommended
activate the geotag
make a list of those things you thought you should have ready for the next trip

You may need to tell your insurance company that it’s in storage and where.

I would remove the window wipers easy job to just unclip the blades, open all cupboards, leave in gear or chock the wheels, hand brake off.

I always pour a small amount of screen wash (it contains a small amount of antifreeze) down all the plug holes to stop any water left in the waste traps from freezing.

Finally send me your vehicles location and leave the keys where I can find them, do not note the mileage.
