Hi Funsters, This year is the first year I don’t have space in a warehouse to park my MH for the winter so I have it parked on my drive. I have a dehumidifier on a timer that comes on for a couple of hours each day. I was just wondering if I need to put on the heating occasionally as well? My MH is a 2016 Mobilvetta Kea P63. I would appreciate some advice.

Main thing is TOTALLY drain all water. Leave all taps open between hot and cold. Have a couple of windows off the latch to allow ventilation to circulate. Sometimes having a heater coming on/off can create condensation which will create mould and smells. Burst pipes are a nightmare so no water will hopefully result in no pipe damage.

Ditch the de_humidifier,,,It is pulling moisture into the van via the vans ventilation vents.BUSBY.

Yeah. You would have to dehumidify the whole of western Europe before you saw any benefit. If you can be bothered, close down the hatches when its damp and humid outside. Like other posters say, when its dry and windy, get the windows open and give the van some air

That's a regular question at this time of year and answered at length many times if you use the site 'Search' facility.
Try this one for a start from two weeks ago so still valid.........

No heating just leave the dehumidifier to do it’s job 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi Len Look at fitting a Floe water drain system now that you have hopefully sorted any damp issues, as most of the water pipes in your van are push fits, and you would be suprised at the amount of water left in your system after normal draindown. Word of warning though be careful of the pressure you use to drain 5 to 12 lb is adequate.
