Does anyone have a proper wine rack in their motorhome? Or has anyone adapted a locker in any way? We have a bracket that holds 2 bottles in a locker but my wife is moaning theres no proper storage for her extensive array of potential refreshments.

Boxes of wine![]()
Park outside Carefour
We only go on the way back and do exactly the sameJokes aside, we can't be let loose in the carrefour. The first stop in there is to collect lots of empty wine boxes only to fill them up again. Its always a trolley full.Good selection though.

Many years ago during an early visit to france we went into a cave in Beaune,We said we were passing through and would like some good Burgundy to take on our journey.I'm resurrecting this ancient thread as there was no viable answer given at the time, and as we all evolve with age (much like a fine wine), and no serious wine drinker buys it in a box, I ask if anybody finally found the answer to travelling with 6 or more bottles of wine? I currently use a couple of those plastic boxes in one of the cupboards and with foam between the bottles to stop them knocking together but it is not ideal. Any solutions out there?
Up to a point, that is true, especially fine aged wines. However, these days most wines we buy in the supermarket are 100% natural and will not suffer a little movement so long as you do not leave and forget it for 6 months. Many years ago during an early visit to france we went into a cave in Beaune,We said we were passing through and would like some good Burgundy to take on our journey.
.He said you would spoil the wine if you had it bouncy around in your vehicle!
