Looking for mobile wifi for MH mainly for a smart TV. when we are on our travels. Looking for ideas. Thanks

many mobile routers out there now . Just make sure the one you get can handle the amount of connected devices you require .

As TCG just turn on hotspot on mobile phone. 👍
If you are in a strong signal area then this solution can work well . We have an external WiFi antenna we attach to our router and have managed to get online when the phone was really struggling to get a signal .

(y) for one extra device, using a mobile as a hotspot is simplest.
Although there are pros to being able to add ~10 devices to wifi in a motorhome via a mifi router

Vodaphone 100 gb 20 quid a month.BUSBY.

As others I use the phone to tether and stream to smart TV.
Also yet to fit a solwise router and antenna. Had it on my last moho and worked well sniffing out hot spots and fon spots (if you can find any now)

Agree its not always 100% sometimes external devises may be needed.
In Morocco we used to put MIFI in a plastic bag, tape to the top of a flag pole and lift that into the air. :clap2:

Motorhome Wifi......just been away on two sites, no mobile signal, no problem watching tv and using mobile.

We’re using Smarty, £10 for 30gb. Between our mobiles we have another 42gb.......not using anywhere near that. (y)

What Busby said...Voda 100gb plan.
As an aside, and to repeat a previous moan of mine........I was in France, Italy and Germany recently.
Up in the Alps at 2000+ meters altitude, in small villages in the middle of no-where and at secluded beaches not once did I not get 4g via Vodafone on my phone to tether my Firestick in order to watch Schitt's Creek on Netflix ( gold-dust entertainment).
On my way home stopped in Grantham for the night.. No 4g. Not even the dreaded and useless 'E' ( not that kind of E). Grantham is not only the birthplace of one Mrs M Thatcher, it is also on a main arterial route from the south of Englandshire to Weenicolaland. Hardly a phone signal at all!
The UK is crap for 4g and yet pushing on with 5g.
My rant is complete.

We had the same problem in several location in the Alps and in Provence region no 4G or very weak signal causing buffering absolutely useless and unreliable
