When we were tuggers (hangs head) and belonged to the, then CC, we were members of the Devon and Cornwall Centre, the largest, (by membership) of all the Centres of the Club.
Invariably there were two rallies a weekend in the season. One in Cornwall and the other in Devon.
The reason being that there were members on either side of the Tamar who were proud??? to say that they had never crossed the river. Some of them needed their heads banging together.
