Has above personally still on sorn no intention of moving at the present time

I haven't but I've seen 6 out today but they might be using it as general transport, fuelling ready for when they are able to, hab checks or anything really.

Hubby stared it a couple of days ago and left if for a while then moved it back and forth on the drive and parked it in a slightly different place so that it is sitting on a different part of the tyres ...

Can't get to mine till Friday. Storage yard are limiting times you can go. No problem with that especially as they have put in extra security while we were in lockdown.

Given that Wales and Scotland have different guidance i'm staying in the bunker and letting the 2nd viral wave that will come pass by
And the 3rd, 4th, 5th etc?
Nobody has said there won't be more than 2

Indeed but my glass is half full rather than half empty and about managing risk but everyone is different lets see what happens over the next period. Richard Kane shares some thoughts on 'Stay Alert'

Just got back. Topped up with fuel and a three hour drive through Derbyshire to Matlock and back. First time this year. I seems the big TV is too heavy for the bracket joints- Its started drifting about. Rivet joints so gonna replace them with bolts tomorrow . Good shakedown trial though

Mines still on SORN.
Somebody was, during our walk we saw one motoring down the M45 towards M1, don't see that as going out shopping ?

Hi all
Mine sits on two rows of pathing flags with grass under part of the middle section.
I thought the grass would not grow at the rate of the rest of the garden.
So I had to move the MH to cut the grass I moved it and left it ticking over.
Then thought ##### to it l will take it for a spin to clean the discs and get it up to temperature.
I stayed within the housing estate I live in and did not go on the main roads.
Well that's how I justified it to myself????

Took mine out for an hour a couple of weeks ago. It had been on my drive for 2 months so felt I needed to give it a run. I felt a bit naughty as there no other MH’s about but it also felt good. Started first time and ran really well so hope to get away with confidence some time soon! Roll on the opening of some sites with 2 mtr pitch gaps.

Irrespective if it's half full or half empty. It needs topping up

Gave ours a run, to a fairly nearby, about 25 miles away, woodland car park for a 6 mile walk; then stopped off at the viewpoint at RAF Scampton for a spot of lunch with the hope of spotting a few Red Arrows, but there was only one up as even they are on partial lockdown.

been alternating ours with the car for dog walking/exercise and shopping throughout the lockdown keeps them both ticking over. Looking forward to a good run out shortly though. :giggle: (y)

My cars starter motor has gone caput, so will take the MH shopping to Tesco.

15 mile essential trip to Sainsbugs and back today. I saw an Elddis Accordo in the retail centre car park.

These shopping runs are too brief. I suspect that the DPF could need a blast along the motorway to clear it. Trying to think of a good excuse for that journey.

Good tip..
Don't use top gear (what ever that may be). Drive van in lower gear (in my case 5th instead of 6th) Won't harm engine and indeed will make it work harder... If auto lock in lower gear

I thought I was in a minority not Sorning ours, pleased to see I am not so alone

but absolutely no chance of a run out, really don’t see why I would want to

but each to their own ?

sole vehicle in household and breakdown exceptions accepted ?

I won`t move mine until I can take it far enough to get it thoroughly warmed through and ensure the DPF etc; is not going to be an issue. At least one "blast" of 20 min at 2500rpm. That will likely mean the M62 to Goole and back via Market Weighton.
