As per the title, we’re off to Ragley Hall tomorrow for the CMC National.

Is anyone else going? We’re new to all this so not sure what to expect pitch-wise.

The booking says there’s EHU and chem disposal, I assume there will be water? Do I need to buy a water roll?

No-one? Thought it was reasonably popular

Welcome to the forum. No you won’t need to buy a water roll, you'd also need a pump to get it from said barrel to the water inlet point, however, you’ll most probably need a hose with attachment to attach to water pipes. As a rule when going on rallies, we tend to fill up before going then use a watering can or several 5ltr water bottles to get water as this saves moving the van. A lot of mh owners just move van to waterpoint. Most rallies, unless stated otherwise, usually have a fill up point for water.

There used to be 5000 or more units at that rally, I think its less than half as popular as it used to be with numbers declining every year.

Expect a LOT of rules and officialdom

Don’t forget not all clubs are run for the benefit of their members, so seem to view the members as an inconvenience

We will be there with a group of friends. It’s very well set up, certainly the past three times we have been. Plenty of water and waste points, lots of recycling points too.
EHU is 6 amp so just be careful what you put on, we put our fridge and boiler on gas and have no problems.
Looks like a lovely setting to enjoy the Warwickshire countryside
Have fun

Rules and regulations a plenty.Possibly some new ones they've thought of.

Cheers, good shout on the amperage, already told the missus to not bring her straighteners so think we’ll be ok.

Just invested in two watering cans and a grey waste roller thing so should be all set. Heading off in a couple of hours.
