We have overnighted in the car park on the top of the hill overlooking the White Horse, and we have overnighted in the car park next to the locks before it was banned.

Nice area lovely walks if you park by the canal dont forget to pay the parking , some good campsites

- Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
A white horse goes into a pub and asks for a whisky.
Barman: "Morning white horse. Which whisky would you like? We've Grants, Jamesons, Famous Grouse, Johnny Walker.........in fact we've even got one named after you".
Horse: "What, Eric?".

If you want an interesting walk park at the most bizarre Barge Inn (of crop circle fame) 4 miles from Devizes at Honeystreet and have a stroll along the canal.
The pub has a camping field beside the canal.
