I need to upgrade my wheels on my Carthago to go up to 4800kg and like 2 of the goldschmitt range, cant decide which to go for so asking for your opinions as too which one you would pick, my MH is white with the grey logo stripe, so which would be your choice black wheel or grey wheel in pictures

Thats good then as i think i prefer the grey ones too

Does anyone know if goldschmitt wheels are good quality as i know some aftermarket wheels can be poor and start peeling etc a lot sooner than genuine wheels i would expect them to be on par with my originals but would like to hear from someone who has had this brand of wheel

I think you would be better going for a plain grey design rather than the diamond cut type.
Stone chips on the clear lacquer start the corrosion you don't tend to get the problem on plain coloured wheels.
You don't get the problem in Germany because they don't use salt on the roads (a green thing salt kills trees).

I know what you mean lenny but they just dont have the same appeal to me, the diamond cut ones look a cut above in my opinion ?

As I thought that was the only place you could buy them from in England.

you wouldn’t know what a single wheel weighs would you ? Out of curiosity we was wondering if there a lot heavier wheel...... as weight is always important...... so how much would we be giving to the wheel upgrade.
nice wheels thou prefer the black.

No i can find out just about everything else but what they weigh, not really worried as i will have loads of spare payload but if you are concerned give the guy at travelword a call he is very helpfull his name is jon

If they are diamond cut faced wheels avoid them. Ive never seen any last very long as they all corrode when water gets under the lacquer.

What weight do you need? Supermetal alloys go to 1320kg and are a sensible price

Have a look at Goodrims they are in Crayford West Kent. Great service before and after.
