If we hopefully we sell our van we will be looking for another, but if must have....
Big payload 650kg and over
Island bed or possibly 2 singles
Garage .
Big fridge freezer.
Good shower space.
Would prefer alde heating

Not tag axle

Any ideas ?

People aim to get as much as possible because in reality the truth isn’t always told when research on vans are done.

Gonna weigh our new van when it arrives.
Then weigh everything we are likely to take in it (not much) calculate water, fuel etc etc and compare to what the manufacturer say's i can carry.
If i'm over (very much doubt it) i will just dump the wife, simples.

Don't they say spose to travel with MT water tanks? i wont, i will always keep a good bit in....in case.

Look at the Hymer MLT series.
Think that will tick all the boxes
Although on the web pages they push the 3.5t version, most of the ones sold are 3.8t or 4.2t.

What is your budget and are you looking for new or used?

A-class or C-class coachbuilt (I'm suspecting not pvc)?

Approximate length you want?

I think more info could be helpful...

Could you also add if you have C1 on your licence as that sort of payload with that set up is basically impossible on 3500kg.

If you can then take a look at Roller team 685. Just purchased one myself and awaiting the V5 so I can uprate to 4100 kgs giving me about 800 kgs of usable payload but I might put air suspension on allowing 4350 (I think)

Swift Bessacarr 597 has all you require other than weight limit, ( you even get a microwave ) but you can upgrade with semi air suspension to give you a good payload which we did think about but havnt bothered. You do need to be able to carry out your own repairs though :giggle:

We've just sold our Burstner Ixeo IT734 in prep for a new A class. It was planted at 4250kg and was a great overall vehicle and would appear to get pretty close to your brief if you have C1 and you might be able to upgrade further

There are similar in their range such as this

OK. Would prefer coachbuilt but don't mind a class. I'm 65 so OK with over 3500kg . So far health's good enough to pass at 70. (Touch wood)
Looked at adrias but matrix and coral need air assist and possibly tyres.to get 700 kg
Looking more for something already to go with a decent loading.
The bolero we had 4 years ago was OK. Massive payload but no garage and thats something we'd prefer.
