In France with my 12 year old Sharp TV which works fine in the UK. Retuned and found plenty of channels but all report video not supported. If l buy a new 12v here in France, will it work in the UK? We do stream, but having local stations in the background helps with our French and saves data.

Just installed a Avtex 27 in our van. Not got a clue what it will pick up in France but here it has 171 channels of s----te, Netflix, Prime and probably others...................oh and a hole that you stick a cable in to watch stuff from your little computer.

You need an HD (high definition) TV. France turned off their SD (standard definition) system a while ago. Nearly all TVs you buy are HD now. We have a Cello Traveller and it works fine for us.

we bought a 55 inch tv two years ago in France, works perfectly in the UK - not tried it in the motorhome yet though, but there is always time ......
