I've just purchased an Autotrail Arapaho with the big U lounge. There's no TV in the lounge area and the existing bracket can't be locked, I can see some small marks where the old TV has bashed the bulhead a few times. Can anyone recommend a good bracket and TV combination/size? We will be off grid a fair bit so guess I'm looking at 12v as best option, and how does this plug in? Thanks in advancefor any advice.., BarneyRubble

Can't recommend a TV but most of the 22" down are 12v via a 230v transformer 'brick' in the power lead.
You just need a new lead with suitable plug for the TV end.
Simply plug into a 12v cig lighter socket and plug in the aerial.
You do have to retune EVERY time you move location.
In 15 years I've never seen the need for a dedicated 12v TV (avtex etc) costing hundreds of pounds when a cheap supermarket jobby does the same thing.

Look at the Manta range of TVs (Polish) - we’ve a 24” one used with a Firestick. 12 and 230v; full hd; good viewing angle. The mount is a Maxview and comes with a locking pin.

Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.

Thanks.
The Manta looks interesting, especially with the average power consumption of a measly 18 Watts which even at 12V is only 1.5 Amps.

I'm a newbie
This is very interesting, I am also on the lookout for a tv so sorry to highjack this thread lol, but basically if I buy any 22" tv and then buy the correct lead to connect the tv to the cigarette lighter that would work?
