We bought our pair of ladies and gent Felt Verza e20's in 2014, they are with the Bosch first gen crank motor and the fantastic NuVinci variable cvt hub. Unisex step thru frames in black. Each have done 1500 miles and show only 28 and 30 full recharges out of prospective 1000 at the service report just completed. They cost £2300 each back then. We have decided to sell them but do not find a ready market place online, unless they are hens teeth and there are just no sellers of any similar bike. Its hard to gauge what would be a fair price to expect, we do not have outrageous expectations, and also where the best place to market them. Anyone have some helpful suggestions.

Don't use an auction house. In my experience their expertise in valuation is very sketchy and they frequently let things go for far less than they're worth, much to my advantage as a buyer. Bikes rarely go for much unless they're highly specialised or rare collectables.

The problem you may face is that you were an early adopter of a technology that will be offering increasingly better performance for a lower price on a month-by-month basis. Early adopter prices are typically high, then fall away steadily as the item becomes more popular. Another problem is there may not be a very mature second hand market yet, so pricing will be a bit uncertain.

For research it might be worth looking at eBay and ticking the 'Sold Listings' filter to see what they've actually sold for in recent months, assuming there's been any for sale.

Have you had a look at the pedalec forum? They may allow classified ads on there.

You get a lot on German eBay, bear in mind they tend to be cheaper in Germany.
