Hi
I'm looking into buying a motorhome to live in. The biggest hurdle I can see for me is the issue of finding places to park and rest at night.I work full time so will mainly be in the same area during the week. I live in the Midlands,uk. I just wondered, realistically how easy this is to overcome. What's peoples experience of this? Anything shared on this matter will be greatfully recieved

I would think if you are full timing and staying in one area for work reasons then you may want to consider a long stay in a campsite or similar, where your van will be more secure than just parking up in laybys or empty lots etc. If your staying for a while you could negotiate a discounted rate for a few months, you would also have full facilities, ehu water toilets etc.

A motorhome is not normally considered the best choice if looking for accommodation when working away from home especially in your case because you will be working in the same area. A caravan is a much cheaper option and some sites have a licence that allows caravans to be lived in for 50 weeks in a year.
