I've often looked at the decals on the back of motorhomes (dogs / indians / hisbiscus flowers / scenes) and loved some, also hated some. I would love to get one for the back of our motorhome but have no idea as to how to go about it. Do you take your motorhome to someone to have it put on? Does anyone have any information on this subject?

Most firms that do the plastic wrapping or printed sign writing would probably be able to help. If you give them a photo or something to work with.

Just google campavan graphics and loads of sellers will appear, easy to put on using soapy water.

Most shows have a stall selling al of that kind of stuff and will put it on your van for you, pick your picture they then print it and stick it on.
I would imagine it would be hard to remove when you want to move your van on.

Lots of graphics available online if you're after standard stuff. Much of which you could apply yourself (many offer application instructions)

Alternatively, if you wanted something more personal to you, most local graphics company's could take a photo of yours & turn it into a graphic for your van

The Funster @Aussie Graphics probably does most of them. He's at all the big shows. You'll find him in Spain or Portugal right now and lurking on the forum now and again.

Another 'please follow me home and steal my motorbike' sticker. Unless its inside , of course.

I dont see the point.. if you are where you are going , then its outside and people know, if you arent , then you are advertising the fact that you have something of value for no reason.

Blend in and arouse no interest.

You can hit Google and find someone
You can hit Wish and buy something generic (remembering it take weeks to arrive
You can find your local firm selling stickers and get one made
Find the next big show and find someone selling bespoke

OR buy some Fablon and make one in sillouhette

With BSB, team vehicles had to look like team vehicles, awning's had to be banner'd & set out to a line & standard, we even had to have a minimum of one feather flag, at that time all fairing's had to point the same way outside the awning, all BS but that was the way it was. :xgrin:

I didnt see your post, but while the sentiment is the same, you have to advertise the folk that give you support.. we have all of that , except we have plain vehicles, and always will have. I am amazed by teams that take fully branded vehicles into hotel car parks, and expect to find stuff still in them in the morning.. lost count of the number of FB posts i see with ' van was broken into at such and such a hotel, 3 bikes gone ' etc..

I know we shouldnt have to be like this, but we have to be like this. Never leave anything in a van unattended, ever.

It'll be OK for me, I sleep with the bike, it's a platonic relationship - honest :)

Plus, with the amount of money & time I spend on her, if it was stolen , I'd save an absolute fortune:) (I would miss her though!)

As do i, all the time. But scrotes these days dont even need to drive round to case you , Google Earth does it for them.

The last time i was done over, the guy who ended up with my bike, had agreed to go look at my bike, at the 'sellers' house before it had even gone from my place.

When i worked in the bike trade, i never wanted to take the works van home, because it stood out too much.

I heard tales of dealers doing deliveries and being followed to customers houses...

And when i sign on at a practice track, i always put the wrong address.. we have been followed home more than once.

Once Bitten..

I can do most vinyls, logos, stripes etc. Although supposedly retired I still have all the kit and professional software.

You need slide-outs on your van if you want a Vulcan :xgrin:

I once saw one that looked like a caravan window.
'Inside' was Prince Philip and the Queen giving a broad smile and the royal wave.
