Been on a site in Beaulieu sur Dordogne since Tuesday. Unusually, there seem to be more UK vans than French and Dutch. Walking round, I haven’t seen a single MHF badge.
Met a couple from Barnsley (Kev and Kath) who don’t seem to be Funsters.

Where are you all? 🤔

We're at Lake Maggiore, heading east to Croatia.

We are into our third month touring Spain, so far met one Funster with a big van and three wheeled motorbike from Wales one none member with a caravan any other from UK were already living out of the country.

I per chance ramped up to Shell Island. Weather is amazing but a few skifts of showers today but it didn’t dampen our spirits.
Altho we did encounter a barrage of I’ll behaved dogs and yes I know it’s the fault of the handlers ☹️

Lucky you, Beaulieu is a lovely place and full of happy memories for me. I'm stuck at home meanwhile....

Hope you’ll be able to get back to Beaulieu sometime.

I do not feel any desire to meet up with people who just happen to populate a particular website.

I have made some friends through websites and have communicated via PMs and have met some and would like to meet some more of them when convenient to both of us.

Anyway we are unlikely to bump into many by chance since we are Aires/Off-grid people.

The only time we did come across a MH we recognised was at an Aire in the Pyrenees, because he had a recognisible name on the front of an identical Arto to ours. He was a member on the other MHF (MHFacts). We became very good friends with he and his wife. Sadly he succumbed to cancer last year. We still keep in close contact with his widow.

We have met two others who are members on here by arrangement, but we knew each other through other forums.

Agree re Monschau usually use it as a last stop when heading home.
Would like to da bit more of the long distance cycle path that passes close.

It’s Valkenburg, not far from Maastricht , both interesting , Valkenburg has old mines where you can cycle in with a guide, it’s beautiful

Stuck at home just got from hospital, misses just had another op to remove brain tumour exactly a year since last removal. Now she wont be able to get in moho so gotta sell it.

We do not know each other, but that is terrible news for anyone - the tumour not the MH.

I did have one friend who had 4 tumours removed in one op 25 years ago and is still fine, but I suppose every case is different.

My sympathies and best wishes to both of you.

Made it to Valkenburg ta Dutch 68
