Been in Denmark Germany and are in The Netherlands at the moment. Seen very few British motorhomes over the past two weeks.

I know the snowbirds like to hit the road later in the year but surely there are lots of owners of uk vans who are not snowbirds. Where are they?

As a retired teacher, the idea of going anywhere in August fills me with dread. Departing Poole September 10th. I live about 6 miles from Lyme Regis and have only been there once since beginning of July!

When we did our tour of Europe in 2016 we saw very few Brit Van's out of the popular tourist hot spots. We came to the conclusion very few Brit motorhomers are that adventurous with their Van's

Although we have never seen loads of British motorhomes, I subjectively feel that there have been less in recent years.
Always a few at cite europe of course.
We avoid cities, and usually avoid the coast. We live on the coast so not much of a novelty, what we like are mountains and ideally being away from other people. The latter being mainly me as I am very unsociable. Swmbo isn't so I leave any socialising to her.

Maybe the state of the pound against the euro could be an influencing factor.
