Got my Bessacarr E745 yesterday and there is one switch bo one knows what it's for.

It's a square rocker switch alongside two normal type light switches. It has a green LED in the moddle which comes on when you throw the rocker...

Any ideas, Simpsons didn't know... Said they would ring the previous owner if I am stuck...

Could be a few things but my best guess is locker lights, the lighted switch is to remind you that they are on.

Thannks, good suggestion but the locker light is on another switch.

Amymore suggestions please?

Electric water heater.
Water pump.

You don't say where the switch panel is?

Stueysheep,

Think it could be your outside Awning light. ( Mine is situated there, but not illuminated )

An outside light. The reason it's illuminated is to show when it's been left on.
Many are not visible during daylight hours & can be left on

Hi Stuart

The switch ( I Think ) is for the fan fitted to the rear of the fridge, the fans are normally temperature controlled but also has an isolator switch which is normally by the door with a light on it.

If you remove the upper fridge vent you should be able to see a fan, the fan helps to extract the heat from the rear of the fridge in hot weather.

On my Swift the normal type light switch puts the water heater on with mains, the switch by the side with a green led switches the water heater on with gas. May be similar arrangement?

Phil.

I have Three large rocker switches with a smaller one between them ,inside on the right hand side of the M/H door one is for main lights for the living area, next to that is a switch for the over head door light and inbetween those is a smaller rocker switch for the elec step, and next to that another large rocker switch , which when you switch it on nothing can be seen as its the awning light, if you open the cupboard behind the light it does shine in the cupboard aswell, any Help. Oh on an 04 plate. Bessacarr E720 Corky

problem solved.

It's to switch on a heating probe in the freshwater tank to stop it from freezing... Keeps it above 2 degrees C..

I won't use it, can see it flattening the batery and then frezzing the tank!!:Rofl1:

Only if your wildcamping and not on a hook up. Be wise to use it normal times. if your laying up for the winter and not on hook up you wouldnt leave water in the tank to freeze anyway.

Whats the switch for?

Thannks, good suggestion but the locker light is on another switch.

We think it may be a switch for the tall fridge freezer. Its an isolator switch for the fridge freezer fan but you generally will not need it as the thermostat on the fan controls the operation.
