This is broken.. the bit of work surface it holds up keeps falling down.

It is obviously not the first time it has broken.

Is it actually the right thing? What thing should it be? What's it called?

If it matters can is 2002 autotrail Dakota.

Perfect thank you... That's exactly what is there now.

It does seem not to be the right thing though and I wonder if the previous owners fitted one of them when the right thing broke...
Hi, we have the same van and the same catch, so I think it is original fitting.
