Just to whet the appetite of anybody who's planning their 2015 trips in the UK, & may be interested in finding an 'event' in Cornwall, this is the Tourist Board's current list of What's On, from Cornwall Armed Forces Day in June & Culdrose Air Day in July, to Polo on the Beach, surfing and powerboating events; arts, music & food festivals; etc.

Don't expect too much from Air Day at RNAS Culdrose (30th July 2015) these days.

It used to be a really good day, with loads of warbirds, fixed-wing displays and exhibits from overseas. These days almost all helicopters.

If you want a really good days air show in the South West, the place to go these days is RNAS Yeovilton (11th July 2015).
