Here's the thing, I always bring back enough wine to see me through to the next travelling season (with a little bit to spare of course ;)). Currently I'm down to 38 bottles. As I get though about two a week that means I have about 19 weeks before it's all gone. I calculate panic starts back end of May. How long do the rest of you have?
I should add I'm aware of the new duty free rules, luckily SWMBO doesn't indulge :dance2:

Alcohol can be delivered. (y)
The status of visiting breweries and off licences for takeaway alcohol can be different between our member countries & tiers though, iirc

edit: just for beer stock I've 64 bottles of beer, one 5L mini keg & if desperate - 24 bottles in my garage that are for my BIL
plus maybe 4 bottles of wine, spirits & mrskevenh's tipple (usually flavoured ciders things)

I had 80 bottles and am now to just 7:confused: I think under new regs we can bring back 48 between us-I normally do 5 or 6 trips a year, so that will be enough (when we can get back over there)

The time has come to rely on the Duxette to drink what wine I still have left. On medical advice I had to stop drinking wine altogether and limit my alcohol intake. :crying:

I ve got 2 5 litre boxes, 18 singular litres, and 24 bottles of wine.

I m with PaulyP on a bottle/litre a night but only 4 days out of 8 owing to work.

I have had to go and buy 6 crates of Boddingtons to ensure this wine lasts.

Fully intending to refill the reservoir in May (hopefully)

Since 2008 & many years tugging
Down to about 8 or 10 bottles we have not bought wine in the UK for about 30 years. I think my daughters got some stock we can raid (SIL gave up drinking) don't need to feel guilty I'm certain she never paid me for it.

No chance of an empty wine rack as I get it delivered !
I do need to see it end though as my whisky collection has risen from around 6 bottles in the house to a current 34 and yes I am drinking too much of it.

Enough
It’s at time like this I miss my trade wine supply business with around 8,000 ish bottles in stock, although in a way I’m so glad I sold it years ago especially now with covid.

Dry January for me at the minute so the wife is only getting through a couple of bottles a week, not long now and I can have a few glasses. Going to try and stay off the beer or at least cut down. Middle of the first lockdown I was getting through an average of 40 - 50 bottles a week, plus wine and a few very heavy cocktail nights!

Do you deliver to Runcorn :beerchug:
Me? Too busy, but a Courier Delivery (2-5 days processing time and no delivery Sat-Mon) is £5.99
P&P often free if you like lots of beer

(we know that I switched in a brewery's address, right?)

Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
I'm probably O.K. for a year or so as I don't drink beer or spirits and still have the bottle of St Emilion that I brought back from my last trip in September 2019.
