Well, it’s been waxed, cleaned inside and out top to bottom. Bed struts replaced, brake fluid and oil changed, tyres blacked. Got a personalised plate sorted, added a bottle opener and Heos water filler.

Now just looking at it in all it’s glory and wondering when I will get to use it.

Only snag was shearing a brake nipple off and then crying. Managed to get the old one out with a stud extractor and local motor factor did click and collect on the way to work so got a new nipple and all worked out.

We did have some great plans that have all gone but consider ourselves lucky to have jobs and health all the same.

So what have you sorted and what is left to get done before we are able to travel again?

Nothing - absolutely sodding nothing, I even fitted a brighter led bulb for reading in bed today -- Thanks for asking.

Just about how I feel too. I have been lucky enough to keep working and still bored to tears, don’t know how people who can’t work are coping.

It’s for the best but it is boring!

Still need to clean and polish the roof,,,Should be better weather next week to do it.Rest of the van all done except the black trim. Will leave that until its time to hit the road,,BUSBY.

I read on here not to polish the roof in case you had to walk on it so I didn’t. Was a good job as I ran out of wax which is in another thread.

I might even take it for a run as soon as I have an excuse to take it somewhere.

Its a high top so its just the front sides and rear.No space to walk on the top because of solar panels and roof vents,,BUSBY.

I bought all the kit to clean her days before the lockdown happened so she is sitting in storage feeling dirty and sorry for herself. Luckily I had all the mechanical and electrical jobs done before including wiring the starter battery to the solar panel so I don’t have to worry about flat batteries when we are back to normal, whenever that will be.

We are lucky enough to have ours outside, must be awful to have them stuck in storage. ?

I've built it basically.Still a bit to do as been unable to get stuff due to lockdown & not allowed out.
I'd like to polish it but haven't got any & can't buy any as shops shut. I did wash it th eother day with pressure washer , even though it's illegal here , as I wanted to waxoil the underside. not a lot of point though as the dust usually recoats it within hours.
renewed rear discs & pads & front pads as discs ok. new brake fluid.

Try it here where you can't even go out except to shop (1 person only in vehicle & same in supermarket) or the chemist, vets. & until last sunday children were confined to the house without exception. 6 weeks !

We have had it easy compared to some. I am hopeful it will make the first trip out even better!

Likewise the next major thing to do is re-pack the food cupboard ready to go. Meanwhile I have the door frame insert to fit and perhaps get a new tyre for the spare.
I seem to have had a busy time during lockdown.

In the middle of a solar install. Done all the work in the van, just got to nail the panels on the roof.
That'll do then, for a while anyway.

Cleaned two fur balls of hair to allow grey water to drain today. Had to lie on my back in the rain at a Flot Bleu, remove the drain pipes and jab a bent bucket handle up the tanks ar$e. Now dreaming of polishing the roof instead - you lot don't know you're born ??
