What fuel shortage

Been to Lincoln show all weekend
Got to my local Tesco this morning drove straight onto pumps no Q's spare pumps. after lunch went shopping in car same again spare pumps.

Drove back from St Ives to Birmingham on Saturday. There were a few petrol stations in Cornwall that had fuel. Many of those had long queues. But most of them were closed. Many of the motorway services were also out. I resisted the urge to fill up, drove slower to get better mpgs and got home as the fuel light came on. I don't need to move the van, so I won't fill up again until the current issues blow over.

Not jealous at all, it’s to try to encourage more of us to buy battery cars. It is unfortunately what we’re going to end up with but hopefully not for a long time yet.

Just seen a video of a woman emptying some water bottles and filling them up with petrol. Pulled into our local Morrisons this morning filled up, no queue at all.

First garage leaving Lincoln show - short queue & restricted to £35 or £37.50 in my case just as my tank filled so I don't know whether the restriction was in operation or not.

Caught the Portsmouth to Bilbao ferry. No q in Bilbao and priced at 1.25 euro. Plenty of spaces on the boat. For those living near Folkestone. Use your Tesco points bio over to France and fill up

Left show at 8am today Monday. Only 1 garage open on way home petrol only.
Going portsmouth in 4 weeks but still got 600 miles worth in van so not bothered.

Morrisons Ipswich have no diesel, but plenty of petrol and LPG so I was happy as I was in the RV.

The free PodPoint chargers at Tesco are great but at only 7kW I can only add about 6 miles of range in the time to do my shopping. I would need to be charging all day to add 60 miles.

The BBC had a reporter at a fuel station in Manchester this morning saying “there isn’t a problem here but it’s been reported there are problems in Liverpool “
