Hi
I have a Hymer 694SL right hand drive. It has a switch on the dashboard which is just above my left knee. I have checked the handbook and it says that it relates to the curved fog lights? This is strange because I have the Fiat Ducato front end, so the Fog lights are operated by the Fiat switches on the dash? The EXTRA switch above my knee appears to do nothing?

Can anybody help with this,

Thanks

Looks like an aftermarket fit, what non Hymer accessories have been fitted? It might give you a clue.

Hi
Thanks, loads but all appear to work independently of this switch. I'll keep looking, its not as if I'm going anywhere soon!
keep safe

Looks like an alarm loop extension switch, do you have a strikeback alarm fitted??

could it completely disconnect the radio, rather than on standby?
is there an alarm? does it dim the flashing alarm lights?

I have the same switch on my dash and it allows operation of the radio when the ignition is off.

Hi Thanks for your help.

I have an Outsmart the thief alarm fitted. Not sure if it is associated with that? Definitely not for the rear camera and the radio has another similar switch which works and does turn on the pioneer unit when ignition is off.

If you have an extension Bike loop for the alarm there will be a plug for it at the back of the van somewhere?
