What are the bungees for that have come with my Wastemaster ?

Hi there - i have received my Wastemaster Economy from The Big White Box and it came with two bungees. I see there are fixing holes top and bottom of the Wastemaster

Any idea whats the point of attaching the bungees?

Actually all the above answers are incorrect...when the design team came up with the idea, it was designed mainly for use in Spain and Portugal..... It's main usage was to enable the user to visit a supermarket and a Bodega ( Wine supplier) in one go...fill the container with the best red and call at the Supermarket for a few supplies... hence the bungees.....only when a few tea total purchasers came on the scene did the use change....sad, but true...

Ah, but the OP asked about his Wastemaster, as it was made and intended, not any previous uses it may have had. So we are correct.

Must think about your explanation. Might get a spare for when I travel past a vineyard.
