What about this for a mobile deal

It came out towards the end of last year just after we'd signed up for unlimited calls and texts and 100gb of data for £20. Fortunately for us 100gb is 3 x times what we need so still happy. :D I think it's in response to another provider matching our 100gb deal, in reality I doubt many people will ever go over 100gb a month.

I wonder if anyone is daft enough to buy the 100gb version for £25!

We pay £5/month and don't use that.
We don't have internet other than via the Three contract, no land line etc, so need more than most I suspect.

I signed up for EE's 30GB 4gee deal a few months back. Soon realised it wasn't enough as I do like my films at night.

I saw this thread and thought I'd phone EE up to see how much it would cost to get out of my contract and then join 3.....

400 quid it would cost but he found some cheeky add ons on the system so not only has he waived my add on charges that I have bought already he's bumped up my phone data allowance from 5 to 68GB.

Thats 98GB per month now. Result.

See you later away to stream the grand tour new series :D

Is this not capped at 15/20 gb per month when in the eu?

Now 19gb per month in EU, supposedly 2 months max continuous use limit but that doesn't always get 'applied' by Three.

I have 2 three contracts 20gb per month on each priced £10 per month on a 12 month contract great for touring the U.K. and Europe no use at home. We have no coverage at home or I would cancel my BT internet and phone contract it’s galling having to pay £50 per month when we are away from home 7 months or more.

Have you looked at the offering from Virgin - £20 a month for 120gb - offer ends 31 Jan.

I've recently upped my data to unlimited, data, txt and calls. Last moth I used over 80 gb.

I managed to get two at £18 each all singing all dancing with 100gb of data. Our local Three shop has a chalk board outside with deals posted on, it was where I spotted this deal. I went in for one at £20 and came out with 2x£18. I had a couple that could be cancelled so just changed the numbers over, it was a good deal.. I've been with Three for decades, never had any problems....(y)

I would have been interested but I have also recently signed up for 40gb at £14 per month on 3.

Does go binge work in EU or does Netflix come out of your 19gb?

@Jagtazman , go binge comes out of your 19gb outside of the UK
I've used go binge in EU and it didn't affect my allowance ie didn't come off the 19gb allowance. Very confused about fair usage in EU though. Its different every time we go and I get a different understanding from different 3 sales people.

I don't use Go Binge but when I looked into it a few months ago it says that so long as you have some of your EU allowance left (ie if you have a 19gb allowance abroad per month you MUST still have some left) you can use Go Binge without a problem but not sure what the 'fair usage' means so best to check the latest info on their website to see if they've changed the terms etc. The reason for you having to have some of your EU allowance left is that if you use Go Binge for a free service and then link to another chargeable service from it, that subsequent service may be a chargeable one, hence your needing some allowance left to use it.

I felt the same so got on to BT to ask for another way, maybe by mobile sim etc.
Ended up with them giving me fibre broadband for £1, yes, £1. They also gave an extra 5gb a month on our BT mobiles free, so now 25gb each. Our line rental was already paid annually in advance. If you don't ask, you won't get.

@Hils and Glenns , I was able to do that last year but it seems to have changed this year.

Binge works in all our Go Roam destinations – as long as you have regular data left in your monthly allowance, you can access the selected Go Binge services without using up your data. If you’ve no data left in your allowance you won’t be able to access Go Binge services. As with all roaming a fair use data policy applies. Within Go Roam in Europe destinations, your Go Binge usage counts towards your fair use limit of 19GB.
However, once you’ve reached this limit, any continued usage (including Go Binge) will be chargeable at our surcharge rate of up to 0.50p/MB
I read the above as the Go Binge usage comes out of your 19gb.

Hi HH :)
I understand that. The bit that I can't get a definitive answer on is if the allowance is 19gb per month or per trip? We often go away for 3 months. I've been charged when I had 10gbs left and was told that it was because the allowance was per trip. Its quite difficult to work out usage in this case if you go away part way through a month.
Last time I was away I didn't get charged any extra.

Has anyone found the list of 71 worldwide countries?

Its 19gb per month for 2 months (continuous) max, it used to be if you used it for more than 2 months continuously abroad it was hit and miss if the spotted this, but it may be that they are now checking more thoroughly so if you didn't use it all but had used it for the extra month, It would appear it's the extra month's usage appears to be what they have charged you for.

Doh! Didn't read the beginning cos I thought it had been going for ages as they usually do. I had just been sent it moments earlier from Techradar so thought it was new. Sorry.

When I renewed my 3 contract in the Christmas sale 2017 they offered me 40gb for £20 per month but I pointed although it was cheaper than my expired contract it did not get me more data abroad. After much discussion the manager was summoned after listening to my explanation he offered me 2 x 20gb sims at £10 each per month with a free mini and a one off charge of £9.99p for and additional mini which I had to accept as it was a new contract. Well pleased with that as it doubles my fair usage allowance whilst abroad which will now be 38gb.

The previous post should obviously read mifi not "mini" dont you just hate predictive, apologies for overlooking.
