Went swimming with keys in pocket

Went swimming today with keys and alarm fob in shorts pocket.
But I think I have got away with it
Took fob to bits left on dash to dry out tryed a few hours later all seems okdoky
Alarm sets and also insets.

Generally if you get the battery out quick enough, thoroughly dry and then clean with isopropyl alcohol you should be good.

Did the same thing two years ago! Apparently the 'electronics' are encapsulated so, as mentioned just dry out the battery.

Manic did same few years back, put the fob in a tub of uncooked Rice, fob still working!
Done the same with a mob phone once when he fell out of an inflatable canoe!!!
Didn't work tho for phone he left in his pocket and I put the shorts in the washing machine!
