How long should I be able to run my Webasto heater from leisure battery.

depends on size of battery size of heater and how high you run it problem with all deisel heaters is they pull a large current to ignite

About 6'3".. or at least that was how long the piece of string was last time I measured it
Sorry defo "how long a piece of string" question. As mitzimad says to many too many factors to consider..
Find out how much your heater draws (high start up current only for short period), how big your battery is and what sort (lead/lithium etc) and how high you have heater set and finally how good your van insulation is.!!!

if its flattening the battery you dont have enough storage if the battery is full its usually a wiring issue
