Weather App

Looking for best weather app to look at a country (Scotland just now, Germany in August) and to be able to scroll through a weather map day by day to see which areas have best weather so I can plan a route.

Does such a thing exist?

We just use iPhone, seems pretty accurate wherever we end up
Couple of weeks ago woke up to rain in glencoe, looked at areas around and Inverness was forecast sunny so off we set. And it was. ?

Thanks folks ... downloaded Ventusky Accuweather and Windy. Already had Met Office but it’s not doing what I want ?.

Weather Pro is very good.
As is Meteo Swiss and Meteo France.
As Clarky said, head towards the best forecast though ????

Yes we use wind guru for sailing. Great for the day but not found it particularly accurate for next few days. Saying that we’re usually checking out Torridon, which is unpredictable.

I use met office but since I,ve been getting into astrophotography I use the clear outside app. for accurate forecasts of cloud cover .Locations can be saved using coordinates.

Have a look at 'weather radar' app.
Zoom in and out and see whats causing the weather patterns.
I've found the daily and hourly forecasts reasonably accurate.

I use xcweather as below, use the postcode or placename for a dedicated area forecast, app available for phone also! Great stuff!!
