Is the bird a parrot? If so what do you do if they outlive you? I believe they become very attached and can suffer from depression. This is what's known as 'thread drift'.

Something to do with the red light perhaps? Or no one is in the van as you are outside putting coins in the meter?

Not if but when. He's 25 and his 3rd family 😳. Typically live to 60+ I believe and unless I get to 100 ......
Tell the kids he's in the will 😂

He’s gorgeous. Needs to know that biting is not allowed though...that looks painful.
 
We have had our African Grey for 32 years, I can handle him Hazel can't, when we are away and he goes in the parrot hotel for a holiday he is the same, ok will fellas but bites the ladies. I have trained him well:giggle:

I find them fascinating
Me too. We were lucky enough to meet Jasper at the last Hawick meet. You should hear him talk, he's as plain as can be, and he can tell you to F off too. :rofl: Most likely taught those words or picked them up by previous owner. I love the way he holds and eats his food, theres a photo of him somewhere fun eating an ice cream :)
