Its not called the lake district for nothing::bigsmile: :winky:

We had 2 weeks last year in the six weeks holidays . It stayed dry all fortnight.
We had gone prepared for rain , rain and more rain. Ended up having to buy sun cream and some more tshirts and shorts for the kids.
The locals did say it was unusually warm and dry.
Still , its a beautiful place . Hope you find some dryer weather further South.

Sorry you have not had the best of weather in the lakes. We were there back in late May and it didn't rain, in fact it was very hot ::bigsmile:

There are three kinds of weather in the Lake District.

    1. It is raining
    2. It just has rained
    3. It's just going to rain.

Love the place though. :thumb: :rain:

Saturday is allegedly good here, we have good campsites in the Peak District and I'll show you roads to die for.

We have been in the S Lakes for a week now. Liquid sunshine everyday, brilliant. Heading home and hopefully dry weather on Saturday.
