Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced hardy cover for the boss ebike?

Not a recommendation but stay away from the Thule ones. We bought allegedly heavy duty version one for 2 -3 bikes... far too tight really for our two folders and plastic sleeve for red/white Chevron board perished and split already. Only had it six months. Rubbish

I bought one from Halfords which lasted ok.
We also have a Fiama one which we used over the top when carrying bikes on our bike rack. It had a few holes in it, but was still useful as it had a pocket to carry a warning triangle

Taylor Made.

Very heavy duty, and waterproof. They do different sizes to allow for electric or standard bikes, and different design depending on whether it is for a tow bar mounted rack or mounted on the back wall/door type rack.

A bit more expensive (£70 from memory) but streets ahead of the Fiamma ones in quality.

Very happy with ours. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Very pleased with ours from BagsAndCovers Direct in May 2021. Made from 420 denier nylon - rugged and waterproof. >£70, arrived quickly.

+1for Taylor made. We are on our 3rd.
1st lasted 9 years
2nd only 4 because caught it and ripped on a tree as reversed onto pitch

We bought a bike tent on to use on site, from Halfords a couple of years ago and its been exellent, however for double protection I have found it pays to also use the bike cover I use for travelling due to condensation. I also double up with a lightweight motorbike cover I got form IOM a few years ago when travelling.

After years of rubbish from Fiamma and the like, we followed some great advice on here and invested in a Hindermann 2 Ebike cover. Made from proper stuff, waterproof and with sturdy wrap around straps. It’s easy to put on and completely covers the bikes.

Can be made to your own specifications (colour and size/shape) and repaired cheaply if damaged. Ours was slit with a knife in France, scum bag looking to nick a bike. Plenty of straps as well.

Told you so bad press for Fiamma !
Still using mine after six years though.
Just to put some meat on my earlier comment. My first Fiamma lasted from Lancashire to Millau, which was about a week, before it came apart at the seams. It’s replacement lasted until Hilton Park Services, so about 2 hours and 90 miles. It’s replacement was slashed at Gravelines when somebody tried to nick our bikes. I patched this one up with gaffa tape and pretty soon there was more gaffa tape than fabric. Just my experience 😊

I bought a cheap Beeway cover on Amazon (£14?). It’s lasted for 4 years and still going strong on an ebike on the back of the PVC.

Just my experience six years and counting and still going strong.
