Hi. I'm the latest newbie. I'm looking for some help. I've been in our motorhome only where I can plug into the mains. We recently went to a site where we had to go off grid. That was no problem as the leasure battery supplied all the power to lights etc. When I returned to our storage park I needed a pee. But I couldn't flush as pump wouldn't work. I checked the panel above the door. Pump was on. Lights were on. The lights work but the pumps are not. But I think the flusher pump is not the same as the sink tap. So why won't my pumps work??
Thanks in advance Steve

I don’t know about your model of Bailey but in our 2012 Bailey Approach 620 the toilet flush isn’t operated by the same pump as that which supplies the water to the taps and shower.

The toilet has a separate tank and the flush button is on the top of the toilet. Are you sure that your flush tank has water in it? Otherwise pushing the flush button will do nothing.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. Its a Bailey 76-4 2017. I'm pretty sure there is water in the flush tank. But its strange that both pumps ie, toilet flush and sink tap are not working On 12v, but the lights are OK. Water tank is 20% full also.

On our van, the water tank is calibrated so that the pump stops working when there is about 20% water or less. We’ve several times thought our pump was faulty when we believed we had a quarter tank or more. Try filling the water tank to 50% or more. We don’t rely on the van’s gauge; they tend to be pretty unreliable.

Have a look at this thread. In the Resources section of this site there are instructions about re-calibrating the tank.

See particularly post #8 onwards

You say both pumps aren't working but it's more likely you have one pump that isn't working. Do you know if its switch operated or pressure operated? Most likely a blown fuse or faulty pump. You need to get a multi meter and check for voltage at the pump then take it from there.

Hi. Its been difficult to reply as my motorhome is parked else where. Basically I changed the 5amp fuse. Ever was back to normal. However several hours later the sink taps stopped working. But the flush is ok. So I'm thinking the water pump blew the fuse which is for the taps and the flush pump. But now it seems that the water pump is broken??

Don’t know about OP’s model but our 2012 Bailey is pressure switched.
