I have attached some pictures of our Carthago.
I need to gain access to the pipes just beyond the three outlet taps shown.
The problem I have is that fresh water is leaking through and running down the waste pipe giving the impression the waste pipe is leaking.
Fortunately it is a very slow/small leak and is not gathering in the double floor.
I believe I have to dismantle the step well to gain access.
Does anyone know how it comes apart?
I am led to believe that if I can remove the black edging strip there are some screws hidden under there.
If not can anyone recommend a mobile repairer in the Peterborough/ Cambridgeshire area?
Many thanks in anticipation.

Do you think the pipe is leaking?

Can you get to the other end of the pipe?

If you can you may be best to undo to two ends and draw the pipe out, then check / replace it. Although I will say, as a plumber, the majority of leaks are joints, not pipes.

Are you sure it's not leaking where it joins the tap or the tap itself hasn't suffered frost damage

The answer to the questions are:-
I do think the pipe is leaking because of chafing.
It is definitely not leaking at the tap end that I have photographed.
Definitely not frost damage.
With regard to removing the pipe, that is my thought but so far the other end eludes me.
I was hoping to gain access by way of removing the step “ assembly” and put a “joiner” in the pipe.
Thanks for the replies both.

Different model to yours I think but the base of our footwell was held in with Velcro!

Thanks for that. I just need to know how that black trim comes off before I can try lifting the footwell. My thought is if it is “ glued or bonded” on the top edge how do I get it off. Cheese wire cutter?

Luckily the pre formed well on ours was just held in with screws,I had to take it out to remove the fly screen for repair!
