Have not used the van much over the past 6 months as we were away over Dec/Jan. Did the right things by draining the water, taps open and leaving the temperature set to 5 or so degrees. In Feb/March we had people sleeping in the van while they showered in the house. The heating worked and they were snug as bugs. We then loaded some water up last month and switched the pump on to prime the taps and water started to leak from the middle of the van. I assumed that it was some sort of Adria pipe issue but had no time until this week to look underneath. What appears to be happening is the water is exiting from a drain hole underneath the Alde system - there is no leakage into the van and the drain hole appears to be bona fide. Any ideas?

You said you drained it down so have you closed the drain tap as the Alde heating will work with no water in.

There is a boiler drain point beside the unit, has a yellow flick handle?

You said you drained it down so have you closed the drain tap as the Alde heating will work with no water in.

Are you sure it not just the water frost valve?
Checked again nothing there apart from someone/thing had hit the dump valve!! Might well have been me :)

Thanks - panic over
