Hi all,

I’m having a nightmare trying to find replacement stickers for my motorhome, especially waste water tank (see pic)

and WC cassette toilet door as these are faded and brown. I can’t find the same stickers as the originals, just cheap looking replacements on eBay etc

Take a decent photo of it a get your local sign maker to reproduce a couple of fresh ones for you.
I have had unobtainable old faded and half missing labels reproduced for classic and vintage vehicles in this way.

Why do you need those please ?
To avoid confusion when thieves attempt to steal your diesel.
Wouldn't want them syphoning/sucking your wast tank would we.

The stickers are on my 2008 Chausson Welcome 28. IVe seen loads of similar age and newer Motorhomes with similar waste tank and WC cassette toilet door stickers. I could just remove them (as they are brown faded and ugly) and I do know where the waste tank drain etc points are by now (!) but thought it would be nice to get some nice new ones. Not sure if it’s a camp site requirement but I’d like to keep the originality.
Anyone know where I can buy them or shall I get them made up? They are 2x2 inch
Many thanks!

No issue, I'll make you some.

I'll draw them up and print them as stickers next week, and post them to you.

Wow that’s amazing thank you! Message me to sort out details etc...

Its not so amazing really, I've a £26k printer / cutter sitting idle (as am I) during lock down and I'm pleased to do anything that makes me have to think

Found on lots of hymers and karmanns
Really? I have a Hymer and have looked at lots and cannot recall ever seeing one on a Hymer or for that matter any other motorhome.

Why would a campsite want to see them? Never heard of them being a requirement.

Up until mid 90s I believe
VDWH

Got the details in english somewhere 🤔
But from memory it's the german motorhome builders certification for environment meaning van keeps all waste water onboard......I think

They are on hymers in their brochures from that period
Brownhills used to sell the decals and they got them from the motorhome/camping shop just down the road from the hymer museum....all bagged in hymer branding
The karmanns of that era shared the fridge vents with hymer so we had to do a lot of hymer old stock catalogue searching to find common parts

Never seen them as singles though, always as the strip, normally on the rear sides just under the window

Everyone could probably do with these after being off the road for so long!

Are you up for a challenge? I would like all the decals on my van in different colours than original

If you fancy it I will PM proper details

It’s doable, but the original print files in a vector would make it easier.

The main issue would be cleanly removing the old vinyl and matching the new vinyl exactly.

If the van was a year old, I’d say no problem, but we may need to deep clean all the paint or it could go horribly wrong.

The good news is you fairly local, so we could have a look.

I did vector files for a flag design years ago, nearly threw the computer out the window

Like most things, once you get the hang of it, and if you have the right tools its easy.

When I first started the business I used a design agency, then a free lance, then employees someone and now just do it all myself. But in the early days it was impossible to understand.
