Has anyone had to change the pipework and valves underneath? Previous owner changed drains to UK nearside. Poorly. Weird materials and leaks. Any suggestions for best source of pipes and ball valves? The sheer variety of non matching systems and sizes is driving me mad. It's a G650L.

Have a look at CAK Tanks they keep most of the bits continental Motorhomes use.

After a tyre blow out ripped off my waste tank drain and valve, I got replacement parts from a local koi carp stockist. Normal plumbing supply shops didn't keep any of the sizes I needed.

Pilote like most French manufacturers use 40mm OD pipework which is not the same as UK standard waste pipe.

My German van uses 40mm solvent weld pipe and fittings. Search eBay.

My pilote has a manual drain which you pull to open unfortunately it’s in the centre of the van. It is a weird size any ideas of an adaptor to push in hole which will allow me to use a fully serviced pitch.

A number of Continental use 40 mm which gives better draining and filling. My water inlet is 40 mm as is the drain from waste and fresh. You have to keep to the side of the drain pipe when opening the valve otherwise you get very wet feet.
