Stop it ... ... how others MH is up to them!Hasn't it got a 'grey' water tank?
45L is quite a large amount to move around when full, nearly 2 sacks of spuds, so do you need one as large as that as you'd have to store it too.Hi all, as I’m chief loo cassette and grey waste carrier (5’2” female) can anyone tell me what is the best waste hog carrier to put under our mh, on wheels easiest to empty would be good, 45l plus. Anyway, there are various types out there but an important requirement is to know what height you can get under your MH, so you know what that is?
If you cant drive your van to grey waste emptying drain just use a bucket a couple of times a day,,BUSBY.Hi all, as I’m chief loo cassette and grey waste carrier (5’2” female) can anyone tell me what is the best waste hog carrier to put under our mh, on wheels easiest to empty would be good, 45l plus. Bit of a pain to do though if the waste point is a distance away ... by the time I got there half the water would have sloshed out!If you cant drive your van to grey waste emptying drain just use a bucket a couple of times a day,,BUSBY.
I bought a waste hog having had the aqua roll version in a previous life with a caravan. If I was buying again I would buy the aquaroll version! The waste hog handle lies flat on the floor so is difficult and heavy to lift when full. The seals in the screw lids of which it has two are not secure so one of those has already disappeared down a drain. The waste height is too high and won't roll under the MoHo so the waste pipe which you have to supply bows down to the ground and then up again to the hog resulting in spilt grey when shutting off the drain valve and emptying the hog. I really only use it when we shower in the van.
Don't fill your bucket too much ,,it's exercise that some people actually pay for at the gym. Always use watering can for my fresh water and bucket for waste if stopping on a site for a few days.BUSBY.Bit of a pain to do though if the waste point is a distance away ... by the time I got there half the water would have sloshed out!

Only 70 litres on mine,,BUSBY.Filling with a watering can would certainly give lots of exercise with a 210 litre tank! In any case, mine won't fill using gravity. Has to be pumped in. You'd rather get a reasonable quantity of water and let the pump do its job for a bit!
Gail.. I also prefer to empty my tank on a regular basis... despite what you will hear on here by some who say you have a grey water tank so take whole van to drain to empty tank.Hi all, as I’m chief loo cassette and grey waste carrier (5’2” female) can anyone tell me what is the best waste hog carrier to put under our mh, on wheels easiest to empty would be good, 45l plus. I have watched Moho's queing up to empty tanks during the mad departure morning exodus.
Get something small enough to fit under van and you comfortaly carry and empty once or twice a day
I do find it quite theuraputic when I drive off the site and watch Mrs A shouting at Mr A Because he was missing the drain.
I dont have a garage or useExactly Googlebot
That is the exact reason ..despite being poohed by many members on here.. that I carry an auqaroll and pump my fresh water into my tank every 3 or 4 days. Get the wine out and watch all you so called professional motorhomes who will not stoop to carry something that they see as a bulky caravan accessory because it takes more room than a hose but are then happy to brag in other threads how big their garage is and they do not have weight issues..Ppsssttt
busby . Not getting at you but I have watched plenty of moho'ers with garages who seem to make their ritual on arrival at a site to fill and empty and then again when they leave.I dont have a garage or use
a hose.My 14 litre watering can suffices..I never let the tank get low...just top it up a couple of times a day,,BUSBY.
Well as we don't use sites I was speaking 'fictionally'!Don't fill your bucket too much ,,it's exercise that some people actually pay for at the gym. Always use watering can for my fresh water and bucket for waste if stopping on a site for a few days.BUSBY.
Depends on the bore of the hose you're using too ... are you a 'big' bore a 'little' bore?Get a bucket as others have said, however it’s the tap I always find the issue to fill up with fresh water.
Grey water, 60 seconds empty and done. Black Horse Farm this morning I swear the wardens turn the pressure down! Must have taken me over 10 minutes to stick about 70 Litres in! The queue just got bigger and bigger!
How can I explain it,,like you I use a bucket mostly for waste and a watering can for topping up and I don't have a garage,,5.2 mtr vanBUSBY.busby . Not getting at you but I have watched plenty of moho'ers with garages who seem to make their ritual on arrival at a site to fill and empty and then again when they leave.
Sorry I am not a curtain twitcher but please explain to me how an empty and fill exercise can sometimes take 20mins.multiply that by 3 or 4 vans waiting to leave... Nope bucket for me.. thank you.!!
Did a earlier post/theme say it was ok to put grey water on the grass and hedges around you???????
Personally i wouldn't

At some camping and caravan club holiday sites thats all you can do cos there are no grey water emptying facilities.
If you emptied it twice as often then it would be half the weight. Simple as that..........45L is quite a large amount to move around when full, nearly 2 sacks of spuds, so do you need one as large as that as you'd have to store it too.

Why not?Did a earlier post/theme say it was ok to put grey water on the grass and hedges around you???????

Steve , is the spanner for the immersion heater? If the site does not have a dump point I use one of these http://www.watertankswarehouse.co.uk/ourshop/prod_3793588-WWTAK35G-35-Litre-Waste-Water-Trolley.html
It's slim fills easy through the large center filler, and empties easy, you can of on a full service pitch connect a hose to the small outlet to drain water.
