On 4th van so not a total newbie....
Yesterday was a lovely day, took a ride to Aldeburgh on the bike, 2 Motorhomes went down the high street about lunch time, I am guessing they had been wild camping in the car park at the end, both were "dribbling" but the Autotrail really was pouring out.

It really was visible and was causing looks of disapproval from onlookers, really hope you had a good night wilding, as it could be your last, behaviour like that is unacceptable, and will likely get us all banned.

As you say, it spoils it for the rest of us. Hopefully it was a one off, and a case of the driver having a senior moment.

Of course, the locals won't see it that way and quite rightly, all they'll see is one of those "big motorhomes" discharging their waste down our lovely high street.

We often nip down to Aldeburgh for a couple of nights wilding. some of the best fish & chips in the east, with a nice little pub next door.

Be ashamed if its lost.

Given it was an AT could it just have been letting out water from damp patches under the roof?:whistle2:
I was going to refer to it as a "watertrail" but didn't want to make too much of a joke about it.

Sad, Disappointing news for all of us, with any sense. It isn't difficult to find somewhere sensible to discharge the grey tank.
Never been to the place, but do recognise it from Google Earth, think maybe a few van lifers have used it on their you tube stories, so must be popular for FLT's, but for how much longer, with idiots as mentioned.

I'm sure we have all done it - found a quiet layby, and emptied subtleley into a drain, not driven down a high street splashing it everywhere.

At this particular spot (assuming you park at the free area down towards the boat yards) there are umpteen places to discharge grey waste, a couple of nights worth wouldn’t equate to much more than a bucket full.
Anyway, like I say hopefully a senior moment and a one off. We’ve all had em.

Having stayed there by the boat yards twice this month this not a parking area we should loose because of thoughtless owners. We have lost Helmsley because of miss use.
On both occasions we used the village hall at Butley near Woodbridge. We stayed overnight the first time and used the facilities to service the van. The second time we just used the services on the way back to Aldeburgh. A donation of £5 to use the facilities is worth it in my mind.

Big wood. Thanks for the heads up ref Butley village hall. Might check it out next week

The details regarding booking are on Search for Sites. It was £15 with hook up first night we stayed.
We had planned to eat at the pub but it is only open on odd days of the week.
