I am currently having to empty my parents house !!!!!! the stuff they have collected, I have several cameras and lenses that dad used and to be honest they look immaculate ( some of the cases are a bit battered ) anyone have any ideas as to if these are still saleable items ??

Contact the local camera club they usually have an auction night once a year

I'd say yes they are collectable.
Valuable ? Not so sure but EBay research may give you an idea.
I think Leika and Carl Zeiss are the names to look for

Get a copy of amateur Photographer and there are ads from shops looking for old gear.
Can you list the gear?

As to how much, nobody can say without knowing the gear. Will it sell? Yes, absolutely. There's a huge "retro trend" snd retro cameras are particularly "in" apparently. Even if not for use, people will buy them as they are interesting and attractive decorative items.
