Vet near Calais for 3 years rabies jab

Hi all, I appreciate the pet passport saga is ongoing but we are considering a quick couple of days to get rabies shot updated as it’s due before summer holidays, she has a French EU passport. We have thought about doing a day trip but obviously will need at least 24hrs due to wormer. Can anyone recommend a friendly vet with motorhome parking near Calais that I can contact to confirm they are happy to do a 3 year vaccine for a UK pet in a current French passport. I’ve looked online and there is a pretty good list to trawl through but if anyone else has some guidance that would be good. English speaking a bonus as I speak just a little French but possibly get by if they speak ‘très lentement’!!

The French vaccine although the same as the UK uses will only be valid for 1 year in France.

Yes I have heard that but I’ve also heard that some can be valid for 3 years. Hence doing my research before going. Obviously that’s as long as nothing further has changed since I last looked into this…..

In France, you need a 'Rabisin' booster - valid for 3 years. 'Nobivac' is only licensed for 1 year in France.
However, if you find a vet in Belgium, 'Nobivac' is licensed for 3 years - just like the UK (and Germany).

We have used many vets but have found that the closer to Calais you get, the dafter the prices seem to be! Sorry - not very helpful if you only have a couple of days!

Our dog has a French passport. Acquired last August she had a rabies vaccination. It last three years. Not one.

Thank you all, some really good info there, gives me the knowledge to request what we need. Much appreciated. I’ll definitely contact the vet in Bergues thank you, nice website too … first impressions and all that!! Not too bothered if we pay a bit over the top near Calais as don’t think any French vets seem comparable with UK prices but also happy to travel further to get the treatment we need. Thanks again.

We used the vet in La Mailleraye sur seine for a 3 year rabies booster in December.
There is an aire in the village and vets is just 5 mins walk.
both locations are on Search for sites.
